  1. I'm sleeping with a ghost
  2. on this grey, lonely night
  3. as I turn on my side
  4. and i see in my dream haze
  5. those eyes so faintly there
  6. that sweet scent fading
  7. and her warmth so ephemeral
  8. and I pull her closer
  9. making a crown of kisses
  10. upon her delicate head
  11. and maybe if i had done it right
  12. treated her so sweet
  13. like the princess she is
  14. I'd be holding her tonight
  15. and not sleeping with a ghost.
